An AI-based tech company that offers businesses with full-stack photography and editing solutions is planning to utilize the current funding to bolster the AI-based image editing suite. The company claims that the funding will also help in developing computer vision and deep tech applications that will solve use cases such as auto visual content curation, quality checks, and auto-editing of images in a click.

The AI-enabled software is able to solve major problems like removing moles, wrinkles, tattoos, etc during the image processing. Spyne co-founder, Sanjay Kumar, told Inc42, “In the image processing space, there are 15-16 such problems and we have already solved around eight of them. This has increased our image editing efficiency by 70-80%.”

Deep Tech

He also said, “With the current round, we are looking to invest deeper in building the next set of computer vision and Deep tech applications solving more complex use cases such as auto-editing of images in a click, automated curation and quality check, AI-driven Image generation, etc”.

Networking Across India

Spyne also provides photographers with global opportunities to work with top market leaders and produce high-quality content for them. The company claims to have a network of over 3000 freelance photographers from 35 cities across India. The company has also partnered with over 70 studios to cater to the shoot requirements of businesses across the country.

Sanjay added further that with such huge network penetration and “industry-first Image processing and distribution technology, we are uniquely placed to cater to the large incoming demand coming from businesses in the post-COVID-19 era”.

The company further plans to expand to the rest of the Indian cities including tier 2 and tier 3 and is also planning to expand in international locations of South Asia and the Middle east.

With digitization happening so aggressively all across, we are looking to expand the reach of our products and services to similar geographies outside India.
